Digital Champions : Reliance Jio Introduces Programme for Under Graduate

Reliance Jio has announced a five-week programme for under graduate students across the country to make them aware of new digital technologies for running small business. The students will also get to interact closely with multiple Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) across India.

Jio, under the Digital Champions Programme will organise four batches across the country, with the first batch starting this summer from May 21. Each internship will last 5 weeks and undergraduates can choose from over 800 cities and towns to enrol in the batch of their choice.

Here is the application process:

1) You need to apply and register to the program on the portal careers.jio.com/champions
2) An online assessment test link will be sent on your registered email ID and mobile number as soon as you apply. This assessment will take no longer than 5 minutes to complete and can be taken from any laptop or computer or smartphone. You need to complete this assessment within 2 days, as it is required in order to progress your application to the next stage in our selection process.

On successful completion of this programme, students will get a digital certificate. There is no fees associated with this programme and the registration is also free of cost. Jio will not provide any monetary benefits or any reimbursements to students taking this programme.

There are no mandated daily work hours for the programme. “However, as we will be measuring your progress on a regular basis every week, you would be required to invest an appropriate amount of time as required to complete your weekly deliverables,” the company said in a statement.
