Bharti  Airtel  on Friday announced that  Nokia  8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus, and Nokia 6.1 smartphones are available on its online store with down payments starting from Rs 3,799. These phones can be purchased from Airtel's e-store with instant financing approvals and equated monthly installments (EMIs) starting at Rs 1,499, Airtel said in a statement. "We are pleased to introduce Nokia's smartphone range on our digital platform and add to the range of smartphones available to customers," said Vani Venkatesh, Chief Marketing Officer, Bharti Airtel. Additionally, the EMIs are coupled with postpaid plans that come with data packs, calling benefits and content services for customers.

You can run from Boston Dynamics' humanoid robot Atlas, but it wouldn't do you any good — the robot can run after you. In a video shared to YouTube by the robot maker, the strange human-like Atlas demonstrates running ability that is more or less of a person's. The robot jogs methodically across an expanse of grass, against a backdrop of trees punctuated by a few buildings. Boston Dynamics poses the video's title as a question — "Getting some air, Atlas?" — as though Atlas had somehow unexpectedly taken himself outside for a run, on a whim. Last week, reports revealed that Flipkart's Board had approved a $15 Billion Deal with US based retail giant Walmart. As part of the deal, Walmart would get close to 75% stake in Flipkart, making it a majority shareholder in the company. Walmart has now officially announced the deal, claiming that it’ll initially acquire roughly 77% stake in Flipkart for $16 billion and the rest of the business will be held by existing investors, including Flipkart’s co-founder Binny Bansal, Tencent, Tiger Global, and Microsoft. In a statement, Walmart revealed that its long-term aim is to support Flipkart’s transition into a publicly-listed subsidiary, but mentioned no further details about the same. Sony has launched three new series of USB Flash Drives in India. The devices – USM-BA2, USM-CA2 and USM-MX3 – are compliant with the SuperSpeed 3.1 Gen 1 standard, and are meant to facilitate blazing-fast data transfers on PCs and compatible devices. Sony claims that all the three models of the recently launched USB Flash Drives are metallic, anti-corrosive and are compliant with SuperSpeed 3.1 Gen 1 which helps transfer large media files to a PC in seconds. Additionally, the flash drives sport a sleek design for their metal body to cater to the style and durability demands of the consumer. A newly discovered patent reveals that Huawei is developing a smartwatch with gaming in mind.  First spotted by  LetsGoDigita l , the patent shows a smartwatch with a square-shape touchscreen that can be interacted through rotating and stretching out the band. As you can see in the diagram below, games can be controlled on the smartwatch through a number of gestures. All you need to press down on the touch-enabled bands either left or right to move a character. One example described by the company shows a racing game that can be operated by swiping the bottom part of the band and break by touching the band without the need to take off the smartwatch. HMD global recently showcased the  Nokia X  at an event in China and is expected to launch the device on May 16. A hands on video has surfaced from the event showcasing the design of the smartphone. The front of the device has an 19:9 display with a notch on the top and the back has a dual camera setup. The specifications of the device have not yet been confirmed. Google will implement new transparency rules concerning US election ads this week. In a blog post,  Google Senior Vice President Kent Walker says  that anyone who wants to purchase election ads in the US will now be required to prove that they’re a US citizen or resident by providing a “a government-issued ID and other key information.” LINK TO GOOGLE'S POST . Gboard  - the Google Keyboard app has received an update on the Android beta that brings the Make a GIF option, which had  launched for iOS  back in January this year. Redmi S2 is  Xiaomi's upcoming budget smartphone.  A teaser posted on Weibo by Xiaomi confirms the launch of the Redmi S2 smartphone on May 10.   Redmi S2 has been spotted on certification website TENAA once again.
